About Kate's Bespoke Cakes
Kate has always been creative, and loved baking.
In 2013, when her twins were old enough to give her a moment’s peace, Kate signed up for an evening class in cake decorating.
From day one, she was obsessed, and knew that this was something that would be important to her. Starting up a cake decorating business was a natural progression.
She began Kate’s Bespoke Cakes in 2014, in Yorkshire, offering whimsical and adventurous creations to discerning customers.
Moving to Norwich in 2017, the business has gone from strength to strength.
In 2026, Kate opened “The Cake Shed” by Kate’s Bespoke Cakes, and it was an immediate success in the local area.

Process
1. Enquiry
Email directly or fill in the enquiry form.
2. Initial discussion
You should let Kate know the date the cake is required , the number of servings needed and give an idea of your cake budget. According to the complexity, detail and design of the kind of cake you are looking for, Kate will give you an initial rough cost guide.
You can supply inspiration photos or design ideas at this stage
3. Bespoke Cake Design
Should your cake design include a lot of complex elements with sugarwork, hand painting, modelling etc, then a bespoke design is necessary. Kate will liaise with you during this process.
4. Finalising Your Order
Once the design has been agreed and cake flavours chosen an invoice is sent and creation can begin.
5. Creation
Now it’s over to Kate to create your cake!
6. Collection or Delivery & Setup
Celebration cakes of one or two tiers require collection from Kate's Bespoke Cakes. A Taxi can be arranged if required. For larger or more complex cakes, Kate will arrange to deliver and set up on site herself, at an extra charge.
